How do I book a seat for a workshop?

All of our bookings are managed online. You have the option of booking one of our many experiential classes such as Painting, Mixology, or Candle-Making.

 

How do I ensure my party is seated together?

We do our very best to accommodate requests like this but it is not guaranteed. Give us a call or email Info@SevenLayerfl.com to coordinate seating for party sizes over 10.

 

Can I bring food?

No, we do not allow outside food. Our experience is usually only 1.5-2 hrs, please plan to eat before or after your reservation with us! The only exception would be if you book a private event, food can be brought in and eaten while the candles are drying.

 

What happens if I’m running late?

We get it, things happen and you run late from time to time. But we do not allow entry 10 minutes past the booking time. We kindly ask guests to arrive at least 15 minutes prior for registration and priority seating near your guests.

Candle classes typically runs up to 1.5 hrs.

Painting classes typically runs up to 2 hrs.

 

When can I pick up my candles?

Once the class is done, the candles take about 45 minutes to set enough for you to take them home. You can enjoy our 360 photo booth and/or enjoy our complimentary drinks. We also hold your candles for up to 10 days, so feel free to come back another day to pick them up.

At the time of pick up, you will also receive candle care instructions to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable candle experience. Burn responsibly.

 

Do you offer refunds?

We encourage all guests to make reservations that best fit their availability. We often have a waitlist we can accommodate when we’re aware of any reservation changes ahead of time. We appreciate your understanding.

We are happy to reschedule or offer a 100% store credit if your request is more than 48 hours prior to your booking.

For cancellation requests received 3-7 days prior to booking date, we only offer a 100% store credit (no reschedules, no refunds).

For cancellations made less than 3 days prior to your booking date, we do not offer reschedules or refunds. We only offer a 50% partial store credit.

Can I order cocktails at your venue?

No, we are not a bar. All our drinks are complimentary. Alcoholic beverages are only paired with our painting and candle making workshops! While our venue ambience is heavily inspired by Seven Layer, we do not sell alcohol! Some of our neighbors would be happy to take your order.

Seven Layer is not a bar. All alcohol is complimentary and used for instructional purposes only. We do not sell any type of alcohol. This is not a bartending school, nor any other accredited/licensed educational institute. We provide classes for education and entertainment purposes only. If you have any questions please review our Terms of Service.

Can we BYOB?

Yes, you can bring your own bottle, However there is a corkage fee of $10.

Must be 21+ to consume alcohol.

 

Where do I park?

Free parking is available, but it is limited. If those spots are taken, park at 900 NW 6th street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311 and we’re right across the street.

 

Can I refill my candle from a past visit? 

Of course! We love when customers return and want to recycle their vessels. If you bring back a vessel from a previous class, you can receive 20% off another class. We can also refill the candle for you — with any fragrance of your choosing — for $18. 

 

Is this experience good for kids? 

For everyone’s safety, we recommend ages 10 and up for our workshops. All participants under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian signature. 

 

Do you accept cash or just credit cards? 

We are cashless; we accept credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay. We strongly recommend booking online in advance to secure your spot. 

 

Is there a minimum or maximum class size? 

Classes are typically between 20-40 people. There is no minimum requirement to book. For private events, no event is too big or too small — all are welcome! 

 

What do I need to bring to a class? 

Upon check in, for your #sevenlayerexperience we advise that you bring a credit card and form of ID that matches your reservation name. In this case, a valid form of ID would be a driver’s license, student ID, military ID or passport. We will also accept photographs as proof of ID.

 

Can I use seven layer to host a party or my own event?
